CeBIT, (www.cebit.com.au), is the largest technology trade show in Australia with over 30,000 visitors passing through the doors. For the first time, we put on a stand, to launch a few exciting new initiatives:

Firstly, we launched our new philosophy - that we believe in content’ed customers - that is, a content’ed customer is one which is able to converse, convert and connect to your business through content management solutions selected, implemented, integrated and supported by us at Glanton. It certain drew a few smiles when our opening line was “Excuse me - are you contented”. Next year we’ll offer free hugs!

Secondly - we launched our Customer Connect suite of modules connecting the DNN/ Evoq content management system to Salesforce. Now you can take your customers relationships online. This was really strongly received and the feedback given was invaluable. We’ll be working with a few select customers over the next few months as we roll this out and we look forward to taking this to full production in the coming months. If you’d like to be an early adopter, please contact us.

Every stand needs something quirky and on this we excelled. Justin Crosbie (https://twitter.com/softwarefairy) was fortunate to get himself a rare Google Glass and wrote an app that created Salesforce Contacts with profile pics and voice recognition. It was definitely a crowd puller and a great complement to our Customer Connect application.

We even had Jamie Briggs who is the Federal Member for Mayo, Assistant Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development drop in and have a go...

It was great to have solid partners by our side on the stand. PowerDNN, a Managed.com service specialising in DNN/Evoq hosting - and with a Brisbane data centre. Take a look at their press release.

Universal Platform is a new partnership we've entered into and they are the perfect complement to the integration services we provide.

Was it a success - absolutely. We had amazing interest, met plenty of really good contacts - and had a really good time.
